The National Weather Service has extended the Excessive Heat Warning for:
Mohave county through October 7.
and for Maricopa county through October 8.
Daytime highs up to 110 degrees Fahrenheit are expected with the potential to cause life-threatening illnesses or even death. Public cooling centers are available in some areas. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and stay informed.
